Investing in local parking

By February 21, 2022No Comments

3 centrally located Boston car parks have been given a new lease of life following significant investments by their owners.

The County Hall Car Park, located at the back of St. Botolph’s Church in Boston, and the Fountain Lane Car Park had both started to show wear and tear with large potholes emerging following extensive use and severe weather.

The car park owners announced last week, intentions to close the car parks for a period of 7 days whilst renovations and resurfacing works took place. The car parks, due to open later today, have received new and improved signage, surfacing works and newly lined parking bays to enable tourists, residents and local workers to safely park.

The conditions of both County Hall and Fountain Lane car parks were starting to deteriorate significantly following extensive usage over the years, accompanied by recent adverse weather, causing uneven and unsafe surfaces. This investment will prolong the life of both car parks for a long future.

We take pride in welcoming visitors to Boston, and want everyone to have a memorable visit, therefore maximising this opportunity, prior to the summer season, will give any users a safe and smooth car park.

The central car parks are utilised by multiple nearby businesses, including Smartmove Hotels which use the facility for County Hall Hotel and No. Twenty Hotel and Bar.

The works recently undertaken to provide new surfacing on these car parks has been warmly received and ensures the longevity of the facilities. We offer luxury stays in our stunning, award-winning hotels, and this comfortable and easy to use car park will ensure that we further offer incredible and welcoming breaks within our town centre properties.
